Did you know ?

The Ryman League’s Premier Division is producing some outstanding goalscorers who are on great form:-
Tony Stokes of Concord Rangers has scored 18 goals in the last 20 games including consecutive scoring runs of four and six.
Kwesi Appiah (Margate) has scored 8 goals in the last 6 games including a hat trick.
Sam Higgins (East Thurrock United) has scored 11 in the last 9 games
Tommy Whitnell (Cray Wanderers) has scored in 6 of the last 8 games.
Richard Jolly (Wealdstone) recently scored 11 goals in 7 games
Paul Vines (Carshalton Athletic) has scored 5 in 5 games and Greg Ngoyi (Hendon) 5 in the last 6 matches

Stocksbridge Park Steels, in 19th position in the Evo Styk Northern Premier League, beat North Ferriby United 7-0 with seven individual goalscorers.

The first club this season to score more than one goal away to Stourbridge was Weymouth, who recorded their first goals in four games when Warren Byerley scored twice to give them a 2-1 away victory in Stourbridge’s thirteenth home league game of the season.

North Ferriby United haven’t scored in their last five games and Chasetown haven’t managed a goal in four.

Stalybridge Celtic were unbeaten in the Blue Square North until their unlucky 13th game brought a 0-2 scoreline at Colwyn Bay. However, Celtic’s form was not so good when the two clubs met for their return game, so a 0-4 home defeat was possibly not so surprising. It was the second placed club’s seventh match without a victory, but proved t be a personal triumph for Seagulls’ Rob Hopley who scored a nine minute hat trick.

Having scored two excellent hat tricks in his clubs consecutive 3-0 victories three months ago, Danny Kelly of Cambridge City had to wait fifteen matches to increase his total.

Bedford Town’s Drew Roberts has scored 26 of his clubs 43 goals in 30 games this season including three hat-tricks, two of which were scored against clubs in the Southern League’s promotion race.

Dan Holman has scored in Histon’s last four games with a total of six goals.

Forest Green Rovers had only scored once in seven games when they faced league leaders Wrexham - and won 1-0.

After scoring 27 goals in an unbeaten run of 10 games at the beginning of the season, Hyde United hit the top of the table as they also achieved 5 consecutive clean sheets. But just one win in six games and no goals in the last three matches have put ‘The Tigers’ under pressure, although their original challengers and local rivals Stalybridge Celtic have also ‘wobbled’ and are without a victory in their last seven games.
