A well established Hampshire club that was formed in 1898 and has developed through the local competitions. After experience in The Winchester League and The North Hants League, Alresford Town strengthened in the Hampshire league and in 2004, after the
re-organization of semi-professional leagues, the club was elected to The Wessex League Second Division which was soon to be re-named Division One.
A very difficult 2005-2006 campaign was followed by a memorable second place and promotion to The Wessex Premier Division. Since then life in the higher level has been tough, but in the 2012 -2013 season Alresford Town emerged as a serious challenger for the Wessex championship.
