North Ferriby United

Currently Playing In:

Conference North

After formation in 1934 the first competitive league for the new club was The East Riding Church League.  From there a move across to The East Riding Amateur League helped the club prepare for more senior football in The Yorkshire League, from 1969 until 1982,
when a new league attracted ambitious clubs in the area.

The Northern Counties East offered three divisions and North Ferriby started from Division One North and in their fourth year the club won the championship and with it promotion to The Premier level. In the fourteen years that “United ‘ competed in the senior division they never finished a season lower than seventh and were rewarded for their consistency in the year 2000 when they were promoted into The Northern Premier League as Northern Counties East Champions.

Long serving Brian France was the successful manager, and he was still in charge when North Ferriby United gained a further promotion into The Premier Division and once again it was as champions. Since then the club has had managerial changes,  but consolidated as a senior Northern Premier League member, building confidence and quality to win the championship and promotion to The Conference North in 2013. Supporters will be celebrating the highest level for their very well run club.
