ALMOST FIFTY PLAYERS SEE DOUBLE

15 August 2014

The 2014-2015 season has enjoyed a lively first week.

After just two games, 48 players in the top five divisions, who kicked off on 9th August, have already scored at least two goals.

Eleven marksmen have already claimed hat tricks and 27 strikers have scored in both their clubs’ matches in the first week.

However, not everyone has enjoyed a carefree start to Week One (9th -15th August).
Fourteen clubs after two games have yet to score.  Five of those compete in Conference North,  but one of them,  Grimsby Town of The Premier Division, haven’t scored or conceded a goal in their two matches.

On a more cheerful note two Conference South clubs have provided their supporters with plenty of goalmouth action, with Boreham Wood recording a fine goal tally of 8-0 and Bromley also providing great entertainment with a 7-2 goal record.
